Konstantina Alevizou is an experienced ESL/EFL educator and emerging researcher whose work bridges language education, inclusive pedagogy, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education practices. With over a decade of teaching experience across state schools, private institutions, and adult education centers in Greece, she has developed a pedagogical approach rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and differentiated instruction. Her practice is underpinned by her academic training, holding a BA in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in Applied Linguistics from Hellenic American University, where she graduated with honors.
Currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Technologies of Learning and Communication with STEAM training at the European University of Cyprus, Konstantina is expanding her expertise in educational technologies and digital learning environments. Her research interests focus on the integration of AI-powered tools in language learning, inclusive classroom practices, and the role of teacher digital literacy in shaping future-ready learners.
She has actively contributed to the academic community through publications and presentations addressing AI-assisted writing, multilingualism, and inclusive STEAM methodologies. Her participation in high-level forums such as TESOL Greece and international conferences reflects a commitment to scholarly dialogue and innovation. As an oral examiner and assessor for several esteemed language certification bodies, she also brings a nuanced understanding of language proficiency evaluation.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of AI-assisted learning and inclusive language education. She is particularly drawn to exploring how AI-powered writing tools and intelligent feedback systems can support differentiated instruction, especially for young learners and students with learning disabilities. In her recent academic publications and conference presentations, she has addressed topics such as error analysis in advanced-level student writing, trilingualism in Greek primary schools, and the ethical integration of AI in early language learning. These works reflect her aspiration to blend empirical research with classroom-based insights in order to generate practical, scalable solutions.
Konstantina envisions a future where AI is ethically and meaningfully integrated into education to empower diverse learners and enhance teaching practices. Her aspiration to pursue a PhD in AI in Education stems from a desire to explore how intelligent technologies can support inclusive, personalized, and culturally responsive language learning. Through rigorous research and cross-disciplinary collaboration, she aims to contribute to the design of pedagogically sound AI applications that transform classrooms into more adaptive and equitable spaces for all learners.
